This current Change Log, Version 430, introduces a number of improvements, designed to save time and improve ease of use.

Message Editor – Insert Circular window
The Insert Circular window in the message editor has been re-designed to display more results in smaller font.
Editing Circular recipients in the Message Editor
This function has been modified to facilitate the workflow by:
1. Displaying more records in grid format with the following columns, Recipient, Email, Country and Circular.
2. Adding buttons: Select all, -Remove/ +Keep to remove or keep a selected record. Plus All, Kept or Removed to display all the records, the kept or those removed.
3. Creating a search area to filter records based on the applied criteria.
Double clicking on Grid Lists – Editing
In all the multi-record components (grids, lists etc.), if the record is editable then double clicking on it will activate the Edit action. For example as follows, this will open a new window that will allow the user to edit the vessel details:
Colours in the Message Preview bar and in the Message List
The following colours are applied for the below actions:
1. Flag/ Flag all – Red
2. Discussion – Blue
3. Processed – Green
and in the Message List
Message Editor – New functionality – Cell Borders
A new function has been added to remove the borders in the message body.
Renaming non-permanent tabs – Searches
An option has been added to add a name in the tab of search results. Whilst in the list of results, double click on the tab and type in a name, clicking “Enter” to add the name. This is a useful feature to distinguish between different search result tabs/lists.
Address book – New field for Fleet
A new field with the name “Fleet” has been added in the Search criteria and also to the results grid to display the total number of vessels under ownership and/or management.
Address book – New field for Group Company
A new field has been added to the Address book module [Group Account]. Users can create a company group and then assign child companies under it. The system will display the group’s fleet that is actually the fleet of all the child companies as well as the group company itself.
In the below screenshot we can see the group company and in the tab Fleet the sum of all the vessels.
Address book – New search criteria Circulars
A new field has been added to the Search criteria to enable users to find companies that are included in specific circulars.

A new search field has been added to enable a user to search for a Company using words that appear in the Comments field.
Calendar – First day of the week
In the Calendar the first day of the week has been changed from Sunday to Monday.
Message Editor – Replacement of the Uppercase button
The toolbar in the editor has been updated to include two separate buttons, one for Uppercase one for Lowercase, to convert selected test.

Ships – new field for New Building Vessels
A new field has been added in the Ships Search screen to search faster for New Building vessels.
The new field takes into account the Build Year and the Month, calculating automatically the current date. Hence the function fetches ships with a future date.
Ships – Form Groups
On the Vessel details screen the layout has been changed so that information is arranged in useful groups.
Commercial History – Charts
Charts can be displayed in fullscreen and also copied to the clipboard for pasting in the editor.
Commercial History – New Columns added to Search Results Grid
New columns have been added for the fields Beneficial Owner and Manager.
Purchase Enquiries – Matching Ships can now display the Commitment information.
The latest committment is displayed in the P/Es Matching Ships.

Vessels – New Fields for Ro-Ro
New fields have been added relating to the ramps on a RoRo or RoRo Cargo vessel.
P/E – Ship Matching Parameters
The Matching Ships parameters for a given P/E must have:
1. Sale status field changed within X days OR
2. Advice within X days OR
3. Related email within X days
The number of days can be defined by each CompassAir customer.
Ships – P/E Matching Parameters
The Matching P/Es for a given ship must have been created within the last X days. The number of days can be defined by each CompassAir customer.
Highlighting entities where there is a Direct Relationship
Records with Direct Relationships are highlighted with a different colour to distinguish them in lists. The following is a search for Tankers with vessels coloured green where there is a Direct Relationship with the Owner.
In addition, in the Ships module a special colour is assigned for P/E, Matching P/Es, Sister/Similar Vessels and Market.
In the Address Book module records where there is a Direct Relationship will also have a different colour.
In the P/E module, P/Es that are Direct, Ships and Matching Ships with a Direct Relationship will have a different colour from the other records in the grid.
Commitments on Sold Ships
The following fix has been included for the Commitment records on Sold ships. When a Sale record is added for the ship, the system sets an end date to the active commitment. Hence in the following, the Commitment record is blank in the main vessel’s tab and remains only under the Commitments tab.
Vessels – New Search Fields for Generators
A new field “Max Gen Power” has been added to search using the generator’s capacity. The expected results will be vessels that have at least one generator with the searched for power.
Vessels – Colour Coding for Direct Ownership
A custom colour coding has been added for the vessels with Direct ownership.
Vessels – Changes to the Speed Fields
The field “Ballast Speed” has been renamed to “Service speed” to be compatible with the IHS data. The field “Laden Speed” has been renamed to “Speed 2”.
Vessels – Opening selected vessels in a new tab
An option has been added to the context menu that enables a user to open in a new tab or new window a selection of records. In the below example the selected list of vessels can open either in a new tab or new window (having right clicked on one of the selected vessels).
Vessels – Quick Search results
The results grid has been redesigned to display a greater number of results.
Vessels – “Sent to” and “Received from” tabs

The column “Broker” has been removed. The column “Last Committed” has been added to display the latest date of the “Received from” commitment from the given Account. In this way, the Brokers can check the received commitments from the accounts to which they proposed a ship.
Received from:
The column “Last Committed” was added to display the latest date of the “given to” commitments for the given Account. This way the broker can check if they are committed to the account.
Vessels – New tab “Exclusions”
A new function has been included that excludes specific companies and contacts when circulating a vessel.
The view displays the actual exclusions (created by the user) along with auto exclusions. The auto exclusions are:
