Updating vessels with pricing information

This guide is for users of the CompassAir (web version) SnP module.

Where it is felt that additional training would be beneficial, bespoke packages can be provided for both individual users as well as groups. Please contact solutions@thinkcompass.io for more information.

1.20 #1 WORKFLOW – I WANT TO ADD INFORMATION ABOUT VESSEL PRICING IDEAS

Pricing ideas can be recorded against a particular vessel via the “Prices” tab in the Ships screen. Having searched for and identified a vessel, information can be recorded having clicked on the “Insert Price” button.

A new window pops up into which can be recorded the relevant pricing information.

As can be seen, information can be added including comments and whether the pricing ideas originate from brokers or the owner. Adding information via the “Prices” tab does not update the “History” tab.

The information displayed on the pricing tab is a combination of actual sale information and recorded price indications (e.g. from owners or other brokers).
