This guide is for users of the CompassAir (web version) SnP module.
Where it is felt that additional training would be beneficial, bespoke packages can be provided for both individual users as well as groups. Please contact solutions@thinkcompass.io for more information.
1.9 #1 WORKFLOW – I WANT TO SHARE MARKET INFORMATION WITH MY FELLOW BROKERS
1. From the ships screen, locate and highlight the relevant ship and then select the “Advices” tab
2. Open the new window by pressing the “Add” button
3. Add the information to be shared. If “External” is selected then this advice can be included in the ship description otherwise it will be for internal consumption only. External advices change the ship status to “For Sale” while Internal does not affect the ship status.
1.9 #2 WORKFLOW – I WANT TO SHARE MARKET INFORMATION WITH MY FELLOW BROKERS
1. Click on the “Advices” sidebar whilst on the email preview screen – particularly useful if the information to be passed on has arrived via email
2. If there is no ship already related to the email (for example by ShipLink), then relate the ship either from the email header or the vessel section of the “Advices” sidebar (at the top)
3. Add the information to be shared by clicking on the plus sign under the Advice section
4. The Advice can then be added/edited, internal or external selected (internal advices will never exit the company via a ship description), and saved
